It's been a year since my best friend/companion Rick died, and I am still struggling each and every day without him in my life. It's been very hard adjusting to life without Rick; he was so good to me; always caring and supportive. I miss talking to him, and still see his beautiful smile. God, please keep him in my heart and let him know that I always need him to watch over me. I miss our walks down the Linear Trail and around Vernonia Lake. I will never forget you Rick.
